This AMC theatre is connected to the Concord Mills mall, and let me tell you, it's a pretty nice theatre to me. I've been there twice already on "not dates" with Wesley (he doesn't believe movies are dates because they're so unpersonal), and we saw Silver Linings Playbook and Les Miserables.

On both occasions there were no huge lines, and they actually have small kiosks where you can check times for showings and even reserve tickets... or at least I think we reserved tickets on them. Next time I'm out that way, I'll take a closer look. They also have an okay-priced matinée, and military discount!
If you're a big movie goer, I would suggest going ahead and paying for the AMC rewards card.
Also, this AMC theatre has an IMAX, and does the Metropolitan Opera shows. Who's excited for Opera? This girl! As of right now, they have Rigoletto, Pasifal, Frencesca da Rimini, and Giulio Cesare lined up for Feb-May. Each one has two showings (one on a Saturday, and an encore showing a few weeks later on a Wednesday night), so make sure you find out if your local theatre (if you won't be in Charlotte) is showing them!
Everyone needs to watch an Opera.
