So on one of my first nights in Charlotte, Lerissa invited me to a girls night with a friend of hers, and we met up at Wild Wing Café. Now, it was during the weekdays, so they weren't super busy. The place was pretty nice, although we went up some side steps that weren't... exactly clean. It's on the second story, and part of a collection of other businesses. To the left of it is Gotta Yoga (Lerissa goes here occasionally, so I'm sure I'll be going one day), and below them is an Indian Market/Café called Rajbhog (I really want to go here!), so I wouldn't say that the trash left by some jerk on the first couple of steps at the bottom is their responsibility.
I had the Philly Cheesesteak, and it was delicious! It didn't come with mushrooms (for shame!), so I had to add on those for a little extra. I had also gotten sweet potato fries (for a substitution fee, of course), and they were pretty amazing as well.
Lerissa had gotten the "chicken feathers" with some sort of asian-influenced sauce. It normally comes with fries, but I think she might have opted for broccoli. Chicken feathers are basically chicken tenders, but grilled instead of breaded and fried. All I can say is, FINALLY. I just want some hot wing sauce on some grilled chicken! I want to go back there to try them so badly, but since I'm determined not to go to the same place twice for at least the next couple of months, I'll have to wait on it...unless of course I go to a different Wild Wing location. :) They have a decent sauce list, so be sure to check out their menu online. I know I'm going to have a bit of a problem deciding on which delicious sauce to use!
